Can you please provide some information on what time that vertical session end bar is at? And also what time that bar before the vertical session end bar is stamped with?

This can be reproduced on each time you run a backtest?

If yes, can you please send to support at ninjatrader dot com the following via Help > Mail To Support.

        - Logs and traces
        - Database
        - Strategy
        - Image of exact backtest settings
        - Data where Exit on close is ignored

        Thanks

im also having problems with exit on close, it hasnt close position 2 days in a row now, is it because its using the time from my computer? or also is it possible to just use a condition which basically looks for open position at a certain time ie 20.55 and just closes amd outstanding positions?

          thanks

To clarify. What are the settings you guys have for session end on your charts? If you set your session end to something like 4:15PM it should exit for you at 4:14:30PM provided you told it to do it 30 seconds ahead of time. If your session end time is midnight I am not sure if it will decide that 4:15PM is market close. It depends on your chart I think.

Yes you can use a time filter to check for a time period and then exit all open positions manually if you wish. Use the techniques outlined in this reference sample, but tweak it so it exits your positions at your desired time.
