How do I add a .dll

I'm trying to reference a .dll in my ninjaTrader strategy but I can't seem to figure out how to do this.

Put the .dll file in the My Documents\NinjaTrader 7\bin\Custom folder. Open an indicator in the editor by Control Center-> Tools-> Edit NinjaScript-> Indicator anyone will do. then right-click and choose "references", "Add" and create a reference.

it's not working. I went to C:\Program Files(x86)\NinjaTrader7/bin/Custom added the .dll. Opened up a custom strategy right click, add reference, located the .dll, added using My.dll but the IDE is not recognizing my newly added .dll file

            d.allen,

I think your directory is wrong, you want the one in My Documents\NT 7\bin\Custom directory, and then set the reference to that one.

                Hello,

Did you create the DLL yourself or is it a third party DLL? If so which one?

I look forward to assisting you further.

                        C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319\Syst em.Data.dll

That path worked on my system.
