    Hello Maciej,

Commission can be included in your PnL calculations provided you have correctly configured NinjaTrader. Commission values can be defined for each connectivity provider per instrument and per instrument type.

Commission values are used in the following order:

    * From the instrument if a commission value has been defined else
    * From the instrument type if a commission value has been defined else
    * No value is used since none have been defined

Please follow the instructions below to define commission values per instrument type:

    * From within the NinjaTrader Control Center window select the menu Tools > Options
    * Select the tab "Commission"

Please follow the instructions below to define commission values per instrument:

    * From within the NinjaTrader Control Center window select the menu Tools > Instrument Manager
    * Double click on the instrument you wish to add a commission value for
    * Click on the "Misc" tab

Critical: Ensure that 'Apply commission to PnL calculations' is enabled under Tools > Options > General tab.

Please see here for help defining commission values.

      Hello,
Thank you for your fast response. I did it. Unfortunately when I did tested trade using superdom I still dont see any conmission in a summary in account performance.

      Best Regards

      Maciej

Commissions are only applied going forwards. After defining the levels they will not be applied retroactively to past transactions. You also need to be sure you have checked "Apply Commissions to PnL calculations" is checked, from the Tools > Options > General tab.

Does this work for historical backtests as well? I am getting nothing in this department and have followed the steps. Also, must you go through every single stock you want this applied for? Can you not associated commissions with all stocks? Thank you.

Yes, it works for backtest, and you do not need to setup for all instruments. You can define once for the Stock - Simulator connection and will apply to all backtested stocks.
