    Declaring a Color in Variables

    Hello,

    I am trying to create a global variable (parameter) for one of my indicators that is a Color struct (no idea what that means really, but I read it somewhere). My code includes this line in the Variables region:

    #region Variables
    .../...
    private Color offColour = Color.LightGray;
    .../...

    However, when I am closing the application and load it again, the plot is drawn but in the parameter list appears Color[Empty] instead of Color[LightGray].

    What am I doing wrong?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Stopped,

    You will need to serialize color inputs so they can properly be saved in xml files like chart templates, workspaces. Serialization is done with extra code you place in properties region, example here:
