    ExitLong with Multiple Instruments

Assuming (BarsInProgress == Stock A) and I would like to exit a position in Stock B, the correct syntax given in the help guide is:

ExitLong(int barsInProgressIndex, int quantity, string signalName, string fromEntrySignal)

    fromEntrySignal
The entry signal name. This ties the exit to the entry and exits the position quantity represented by the actual entry.
As this syntax requires both quantity and fromEntrySignal (which usually uses the quantity from the entry), which takes precedence?

    Thanks!

    wuilengh,

The signal name would take precedence over the quantity here.

Please let me know if I may assist further.
