Using NT as read-only database of bar/tick data

I store an extensive database of historical data in NT.

Can I use NT as a read-only database of bar/tick data that can be read from, say, a method scripted in C# (but not NinjaScript, and not in NinjaTrader namespace) or Python?

And if so, are there any code snippets that show this being done?

Hi AnotherTrader, unfortunately this would be not an item we could offer support on, the data itself is not stored in the database sdf file anymore with NT7, but in the Documents\NinjaTrader 7\db <tick, minute and day> subfolders.
