    V.11 muti time frame issue

    I have several indicators which use multiple markets. I have noticed on v.11 the load and redraw time has increased. It works fine, it is just an initial delay. I specify the instrument on the ADD command. I can see on the control center get the data for each added instrument every time so I understand what is happening. Is there a way I can have Ninja use the previously retrieved tick data instead of re-get the tick data every single time.

    I would think Ninja should use previously retrieved or cached instrument data but it doesn't for added time frames. It does this for the primary instrument of the chart but not for added instruments.

    Any comment?

    Generally if you have the tick data on your side NinjaTrader can load it. Do you have "Tools" > "Options" > "Data" > "Save chart data as historical" checked?

      Yes, it has been that way for years.

      My indicator adds additional time frames for other markets. If I change the instrument list in the indicator, my chart goes blank. It doesn't lock my pc but the chart remains blank. If I remove the indicator and add it back it works fine. Never had a problem doing this on a strategy but you disable a strategy, make your changes, then re-enable the strategy.

      I can repeat this at will.

        Could you send me the strategy that causes this? If you are uncomfortable posting your code, could you send me a "toy" strategy that exhibits this behavior? Likely I will need to examine it on my end to either A) find a reason this is occurring along with a fix or B) submit to development.
