    Store Indicator Value & Show in Output Window

    Hi all, I am trying to read an indicator value & view it in the output window (for debugging). I get error code CS0200 in my strategy. Here is a sample NinjaScript:

    ....
    private double myVar = 0.0;
    .....
    protected override void Initialize()
    {
    CalculateOnBarClose = false;
    TraceOrders = true;
    }
    protected override void OnBarUpdate()
    {
    ADX(8)[0] = MyVar;
    Print("Value = " + MyVar.ToString());
    }

    Reading the help file on error code CS0200 says I should use the set() method. Can somebody enlighten me on this? I cannot find the set() method in NinjaTrader documentation.

    As a first issue, I see this line:

    Code:
    ADX(8)[0] = MyVar;
    What are you trying to do with that line? Assign the value of MyVar to the ADX(8) at the CurrentBar?

      What Koganam means is the stuff is backwards.

      Reverse the variable assignment, and it should work.
