Strategies in Live Trading Splitting Up Orders

Hi,

Can someone tell me why my strategies occasionally break an order down into multiple pieces? Example, total quantity is 174, I have 2 orders to close in: 1 to close 100 shares, 1 to close 74 shares.

Just seems like a waste of commissions.

If you look in your Log tab inside of the Control Center do you see that your Order is PartFilled when it closes?

On log I see the Order entries show 174, then I get Execution 100, Execution 74.

Could you send me your log and trace files for today so that I may look into what occurred.

You can do this by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Mail to Support.

In the Subject line put ATTN: JC.

Please reference the this thread in the body of the email with the time of the order execution so that I may look into this.
