An input capable field would be perfect. I can use a parameter value but was hoping not to force them to go to the indicator panel. I can read it via a stream file that is changed but I didn't know if there was as better way?

Input from user to indicator
I want to be able to get an input variable from a chart user and retrieve it into a chart indicator. Any suggestions on how I can best do that (if at all)?

ct, I'm not sure if it would help much (since then you could use the default UI as well) but here's a way to create a custom from in a NinjaScript strategy and take input values from it - http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/f...?t=3292&page=2
Easier would be using a draw text field for user input then perhaps, you can instruct them to setup with a certain tag and type and then access the text inputted from the collection -
