Hi Sburtt,
Yes, it is possible to use a mix of the Advanced Order handling with the Managed Approach in a single strategy.
Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.

I think i might have been confused. I am not using the unmanaged approach, but rather the advance order handling within the mamanged approach, hence i suppose EntryHandling should still work in my case, please advise if this is incorrect.
Furthermore, i should refrase my original question: is it possible to use a mix of advanced orders (IOrder) and standard orders ( in theory both managed approach) in a single strategy?
Thanks in advance for your assistance

Hi Sburtt,
Unfortunately, the Unmanaged approach does not utilize the EntryHandling properties, EntriesPerDirection and EntryHandling, and therefore would not work.
You can, however, use signal names like BarsSinceEntry() and BarsSinceExit() instead.
Please see the Unmanaged section of the help guide.

Hi Sburtt,
Thank you for posting.
Unfortunately, you cannot have a mix of Managed and Unmanaged orders in a single strategy.
You will need to choose which order approach you would like to use.
See the link below on Order Methods for NinjaScript to get a full understanding of the approaches and what to expect.
