    I used trycatch and it's giving me an exception at the red line:

    System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
    at NinjaTrader.Strategy.ad017.OnBarUpdate().


    Haven't been able to figure out, could anyone give me some help?'

    You cannot call Upper[1] for CurrentBar == 0, as it is not defined.

    You should add

    Code:
    if(CurrentBar < 1)
       return;
    in the beginning of OnBarUpdate().

      I'm limited on space in these threads, so I took that portion of the code out, I actually had it set for:

      if (CurrentBar < donPers[donQ-1])   // with donQ=10, donPers[9]~4650
return;
      But this gave me the same error.

      Is there a problem with the way I'm declaring, instantiating, initializing arrays? I've gone over the MSDN pages on single-dim arrays, not sure I'm following their directions to the T.

        If you only share part of your code, it is difficult to comment the problem.

            K, figured it out. If anyone is looking for help with arrays, here was a great tutorial. It's meant for java, but C#/Java, close enough... lays it all out much better than the Microsoft pages.
