Hello to NinjaTraders!!
I am interested in developing indicators based on my own trading knowledge. I am a complete newbie to ninjatrader and ninjascript. I have no idea what c# is.... so, I started learning c# from this website http://www.completecsharptutorial.com.
I have a very little programming experience (never learned programming seriously at school
) I understand what is a datatype and variable. That's all I know for now.
As I told you, My goal is to be able to write indicators to ninjatrader using Ninjascript and also use the indicator in Market Analyzer.
To achieve this goal, here are the steps I have taken.
1. I started learning c# from the above website,
2. Bought the guide of Scott Daget (Ninjascript Programmer's launchpad). I am thinking to start reading this once I complete all tutorials in the C# learning website.
3. Read Ninjascript manual provided by Ninjatrader.
I hope I am on the right path. Please tell me if I need to add some more steps. Its a journey of one or more months. I am in no hurry but I want to achieve my goal.

I thought of creating indicators based on my learning for think or swim, but I am finding it difficult and I see that there's no official forum support and not much community driven support. Since ninjatrader has the ability to hookup to any data service provider, I believe that it is beneficial to choose ninjascript to learn, code and prepare my custom indicators.
