Catch 22 - Coding errors in assemblies

I have had a power failure and an ungraceful shutdown of my computer. When I restarted, Ninja had to be re licensed and I had to remake my connection to my broker/datafeed.

Every thing seemed to be fine until I went to edit some script and found there were compiling errors as shown in the attachments. Looking for the culprit I noticed they were all assemblies. I went to the utility to view the assemblies but could not as you can't do that if you have compiling errors.

Can someone give me some guidance on how to correct this problem? I can't remove the assemblies because of the coding errors and I can't fix the errors because they are in assemblies. Seems to be a Catch 22.

    thanks,
    taddypole...

Try repairing your NT installation. Just run the installer, and it should be one of the options.

I actually removed Ninja Trader via the Control panel and re installed but the same files have error messages. They are all associated with Jurik and Woodies indicators and are located in the NinjaTrader.Vendor.cs file. These are indicators I don't use so it's hard to imagine that something associated with them got corrupted when I lost power.

Can't think of any elegant way to solve this one. Looks like a rebuild.

        Hi Taddypole,

        Thank you for your note.

These errors indicate that you are missing a reference for the particular indicators, more than likely the Vendor.DLL
If right click on the editor and select References, can you post a screenshot of that window as well?

        Thank you for your patience.

          Hi Cal,

Here's a pic of the errors and the References.

Thanks for taking a look at this.

            Taddypole,

            Thank you.

Yes, you are missing the Vendor.DLL reference.

Click Add on the references window.

            Select the NinjaTrader.Vendor.DLL

            Click Ok and recompile.

Let me know if this resolved the Compile errors

              Thanks Cal,

One of the machines I had rebuilt but I tried your suggestion on the second one and it worked perfectly.

              I sincerely appreciate your help.

              Regards,
