File of input parameters as argument

    Hi,

I have a large strategy that is employing some bespoke indicators. As a result, I have a vast list of input parameters required. If I use the Strategy Analyzer for instance I have to scroll the list making the same changes over and over for different scenarios. Is it possible to store the parameters in an input text file that I could refer to as a single input parameter. That way I could save my different set-ups in different files and only have to change one input parameter each time.

    Thanks,
    darmbk.

Hi darmbk, that is an item considered on our enhancement list, however at present that would not be a supported option. You should be able to read-in settings for your properties though via custom coding in C# for example in the OnStartUp, where you overwrite any default paramters with the ones from your file. Another option would be of course to persist parameters in the strategy default settings xml file that NT would offer, however as you could have only one default per script, you could need to make copies of your strategies to be able to reflect multiple scenarios you want to cover.

      Here you go.
      Its not a NT zip.
You need to extract the cs to strategies folder and csv to NT root.
      Enjoy.

p.s. I maid a zip because its not allowed to upload csv.
      Why?
