general "object" question

i moved this question from an "indicator development" thread...

still a little fuzzy on what is considered an "object" - don't really have any C or C# structure theory

would each plot definition in an indicator on panel 2 be considered an object (in this case 5 plots) ?

or would the whole indicator in panel 2 with it's 5 separate plots be considered 1 object ?

Yes, each plot definition would be considered an object. So, 5 plots would be 5 objects.

thanks, i'm still trying to figure out how to affect the z-order of the price markers for a 5 plot indicator...
the z-order of the actual plots within the indicator panel doesn't really matter that much - i just need to see one particular plot's price marker at all times -- i guess if i can't get that price marker to always be on top i'll have to add it as text inside the indicator panel -- are there any tutorials on either solution

Stafe,

The plots will load from top to bottom when added.
The last one to be added will be the one on top.

Thus, you could put the one plot you need last and have it plot on top.

Reverse that order? First to be added = on top.

That would be for the plots themselves on the chart canvas.

However for the Price Markers, the last one added = the one on top

I never noticed that discrepancy. At least in my mind I would think the levels order for the axis markers should be the same as plots themselves. Thanks for the clarification.
