How to make script drawn objects manual/UserDrawn type objects

    Hello Support --

What is the way to convert script drawn object type to user drawn type object? I've found the UserDrawn method, but it only gets, and does not set the type of object.

I'd like that my script drawn objects will still be drawn on a chart after time period change and the Ninja shout down. Now theay are deleted each time I change the time period of the chart, but manually drawn objects are not.

I think if I change the type of the objects the Ninja will save them/ If there are other ways to solve my problem, please advise.

    Regards.

    Hello alex_bbfg,

    Thank you for your post.

Unfortunately, there is no method or function to change the Drawing Objects to manually drawn.

Hello PatrickH and other support people

Could you please tell me how does the Ninja determin whether an object is drawn manualy or by a script. I mean you have the method UserDrawn(); and it returns whether an object is manually drawn. So, it has some logic which helps him. There should be a parameter/ variable or something which divides manully drawn objects from script drawn object. What is it?

      Regards.

        Hello alex_bbfg,

        Thank you for your response.

The object being drawn from the chart manually versus the object being drawn by a method called in the script are the only determining factors. The bool UserDrawn would be assigned appropriately for either means of drawing the object, unfortunately, this bool is read-only.
