    Hi Jim, per default that would be the natural log or ln you get, you seek it from base 10 likely here so try please - Math.Log(800, 10);

    started a topic math.log?

    math.log?

    i need to do a log and have used

    Math.Log()

    and am getting a number returned that is not the log

    double Rat = Math.Log(800);

    rat should be 2.903 but i'm getting 6.68

    is Math.Log not the same as "Log"

    looked around but am having trouble figuring this out

    thanks in advance for any help
