    SmoothingMode confusion

    Hi there,

    I have seen this used often in code. I understand what it means, however when I have used it myself in my own indicators I end up with a worse graphic result with indicators appearing slightly blurred. Does this happen because of my own PC graphic settings or does NT already set SmoothingMode to HighQuality by default, causing the plot to "over compensate" or something?. I seek some clarification in this issue
    Code:
    SmoothingMode smoothingMode = graphics.SmoothingMode;
    graphics.SmoothingMode = SmoothingMode.HighQuality; // or AntiAlias;
    Thanks again,

    Simon

    Hello Simon,

    Thank you for your post.

    There is no smoothing mode applied by default. If you are seeing blurry results it can be due to the set resolution for your PC. Try changing your resolution and see if this improves the blurry graphics.
