Hello gubbar924,
Thank you for your post.
If you are using a time based bar type the timestamp of the bar provided by Time[0] would always be the same. If you use a tick based bar type you could call Time[0].
However, you could use DateTime. Now in both cases to pull the time when a condition is meet.
For information on DateTime. Now please visit the following link: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/lib...vs.110%29.aspx
To compare multiple timestamps or time values you would need to store the value in a double when it occurs, then compare that double to the next timestamp or time value.
Please let me know if I may be of further assistance.

Please help with timing
Hello, I have a 2 part question, both relating to timing functions.
1) Is there a way to get the exact time something occurs?
for example: the exact time at which current candle's high exceeds the previous candle's high.
2) How can I compare multiple timestamps to see which one happened first?
thanks, any help I can get will be appreciated!Tags: None
