Tulanch,
Has the font size in the editor been changed at all?
Can you try resizing the window? Does it still stay at this "Grainy"?

Thanks for reply. I also found that same solution as you provided. I do have cleartype enabled
http://screencast.com/t/9aeN2t8l95G
and that is what cleared up the other areas having issues
again, it is just NT text editor having issues now

tulanch,
You may need to enable ClearType with the System.
The link below will outline how to check and enable this for Vista -http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windo...look-horrible/
Let me know if that worked for you

grainy font in text editor
I am still using Windows Vista. I had issues with fonts in browsers but have resolved those issuses. The fonts were grainy is the only way I can explain it. I used a number of items I found on google about this issue.
I suspect during the time up resolved the font issues in browsers, I do not know exactly when, the font in the Ninjatrader text editor became grainy. But only in the text editor. The fonts in the control panel are all just fine. The fonts in all my other programs are just fine too. It is only the Ninjatrader text editor that is grainy.
I have done reboots and I have tried changing the DPI, still no luck in getting a clean font back in the text editor.
What specific Windows System font does the text editor use?
here is example of "grainy"

here is the control panel that looks fine

look at the "e" in new and in Sell
Any suggestions?Tags: None
