    List of parameters

    Hello,

    I have seen the "CandleStickPattern" indicator and I would like to do an indicator with similar "list of options" for one parameter (so, the user coluld select one of severals items).

    How can I do it?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello,

    Thank you for the quesiton.

    This would be known as an ENUM, this is a list of items that can be selected from the interface and used in logic.

    We have an example of this here; http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/f...ead.php?t=3420

    I look forward to being of further assistance.

      Sorry, but now I have two differents "list of items" and I can't use "public enum" for everyone because I got a error message: "Ninjatrader.Strategy already has a definition for ´pattern´"

        Hello,

        Thank you for the question.

        You can use multiple enums but they need to have unique names just like a variable.

        There is no problem in using multiple enums in NinjaScript they just need to be formed correctly to not conflict with each other.

        I look forward to being of further assistance.

          Sorry, I give you a little sample:

          I have List 1 ("A", "B", "C") and List 2 ("D", "E", "F").

          How can I do it?

          Thanks.

            Hello,

            You would just need to name them uniquely or:

            Code:
            public enum List1{
            a,
            b,
            c
            }

            public enum List2{
            d,
            e,
            f
            }
            I look forward to being of further assistance.
