    Plot Previous Weeks Range

Does anyone have an indicator that plots the high & low of the previous week on an intraday chart?

    Hello futurenets,

    Thank you for your inquiry.

The NinjaTrader Support Forum provides an entire database of user and employee created indicators. You can access this database here: http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/f...ks.php?catid=4

You can download an indicator that will plot the high, low, open, and close of previous weeks here: http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/f...d=4&linkid=540

Once downloaded, you may import the indicator by:
    • From the Control Center window select the menu File > Utilities > Import NinjaScript to open the Import NinjaScript dialog window
    • Select the file you want to import
    • Press the "Open" button

Once installed, you may add the indicator to a chart by:

Right click you chart > indicators > Select the Indicator from the list on the left > New > OK

Please, let us know if we can be of further assistance!

      thank you.

I forgot to mention that I'm charting forex data and unfortunately PriorWeekOHLC doesn't appear to take account of e.g. forex session templates which start on 22:00.

        Hello futurenets,

Please ensure that you have enough data to plot this indicator. As this indicator relies on data from the prior week, I would advise you to load at least 14 days of data.

To do this, you would need to modify your Data Series parameters.
        • Right-click in the Chart window and select Data Series. Alternatively, you can press the keyboard shortcut CTRL+F to bring up the Data Series window.
        • On the right, you would want to scroll down until you see the category "Data". Under that category will be a section called "Days to load". If you do not see this category, ensure "Days" is selected in the "Load data based on" section. Set "Days to load" to 14. Once you do that, press OK.

I have tested this indicator on multiple Forex pairs and can confirm that it is working as intended.

Please, let us know if we may be of further assistance!
