Ninjatrader Grouping accounts

Hello,

This question is related to futures trading. I'd like to know how I could trade just one contract from one account and more than one contract on another account after I group them. I was able to group my accounts, but I was not able to change the lot size.

This is not possible with Account Groups.
If all the accounts are with the same broker I would recommend contacting your broker to see if they have this option on their end.

What if I have ninjatrader multi-license? can I group 2 separate accounts from 2 separate brokers and be able to do this?

No, this is not possible. NinjaTrader's Account Groups will only replicate the order. You cannot allocate separate quantities.

I have 5 strategies, 2 for ES and 3 for NQ. Is it possible for me to trade them at same time. If so, what should i do? I have lifietime lic of Ninjatrader.

Thank you for your note.

Yes it is possible to run several strategies on the same products, at the same time.

You could add these strategies to the strategies tab by right clicking the strategies tab>New Strategy, and setting up strategy parameters. Then enable each strategy 1 by 1.

I’ve provided a screen shot of what this would look like on the strategy tab.

It is important to understand Strategy Position vs Account Position when running multiple strategies in the same market, I’ve provided a link to our helpguide covering this.

Thanks very much for a prompt reply.

1). The screen shot is for sim account. I mean the live trading. If yes, what is the limit of sub accounts which I can use for live trading, 10 or 100?
2). I will send order from Tradestation to Ninjatrader. How do I handle the order's event such as filled, canceled, rejected.... Do you have sample code? My program is written in Easy language of Tradestation which is order-event-driven program so that I need to know how to get response from NT for each event of an order.

I am unaware of any limitation on how many sub accounts you can use for live trading.
