    Hello,

    Thank you for the question.

    I wanted to clarify, are you trying to sync the DataSeries to the secondary timeframe?

    If so, we have a sample of this here: http://ninjatrader.com/support/forum...ead.php?t=3572

    I look forward to being of further assistance.

  • how to define and initialize idataseries in Multi time frame

    after we define an idataseries variable x for second bar in a multi time frame indicator,
    for example,
    private IDataSeries x;

    where and how should we initialize the variable x? for example,
    x = SMA(Close, 9);

    Does it go to the if(BarsinProgress==1) of OnBarUpdate()?

    If it go to the initialize() or OnStartUp(),
    how do we write the code?
    I found the code x = SMA(Close, 9) will work only for the second bar with
    the same period and type as first bar.

    Thank you.
