    Chart Properties Colors - NT7

    Dear Support,

    Is it possible to call chart properties colors for an indicator?

    For example: In my current chart properties the "Color for background" is set to black. I am writing an indicator that when plotted I want to have the same color as the chart properties background. For this I can use:

    Color = Color.Black;

    However, is there a way to code something equivalent to

    Color = Chart Properties Background Color ?

    Many thanks.

    ChartControl.BackColor is the background color of the chart.

    There is also BackColorAll, albeit that is per bar.

      Thanks koganam,

      So, the following code should work to draw an indicator with the same color as the chart properties background color, correct?

      Add(new Plot(ChartControl.BackColor, "Plot 0")

        That is the easiest way to create an invisible Plot that will still appear in the DataBox.

          Thanks, that is exactly the purpose, to have access to values while plot is transparent. Something that is not easily possible by selecting transparent for the color.

          Cheers!
