Getting file not found error when trying to edit strategy after .31 update

Hi

I just updated to the mandatory 7.1000.31 update and have the following issues.

Background

1. I have the my documents stored on a data drive i.e. not in default location
2. Running NT 7

Problem

1. Ran the 1000.31 update
2. Rebooted computer just to be safe
3. Went in to edit a custom strategy
   • Strategy was listed - so it can read the index
   • Selected the strategy
     • Get a file cannot be located msg box (file path was correct i.e. it pointed to my data drive
     
     
   • Closed msg box
     • NT abends
     
     
   • Restarted NT and checked About
     • About says I am on 7.1000.30
     
     
   
   

Update

1. Tried to run DB repair in options
   • NT freezes when I try to open Options
   
   

Please help

Problem Resolved

• Repeated download process from Advisory #27 and reran, problem fixed
• It appears if I used the download from the main site, I run into issues i.e. if I went to the about page and went to the download site from there, I have issues

It seems something prevented NinjaTrader from properly updating.


To resolve this please uninstall and reinstall NinjaTrader. Following these steps will not affect your data, settings, configuration, NinjaScripts, Workspaces, etc.


First save your license key to a document


You can locate your license key by going to Help> License Key


Now exit NinjaTrader and uninstall it within Windows Control Center


Once uninstalled you can redownload NinjaTrader from the link below

Paste your license key


Select Submit


Download and then run the installer
