Volum indicator next to the bar of the price

    Hi everyone,

Is there some tool that allow me to see the number of the Volum indicator next to the bar of the price?

    See attached Picture please.

My strategy works with volume. I make entries when pressing the force that follows the trend. I am interested in knowing if anyone knows how to optimize the detection of the pressing side (supply or demand).

    Thank you,
    Conrad

    Hello Conrad,

To confirm, you are asking how to call ask and bid volume in an indicator, is this correct?

Below is a link to an example of this named TnSVolumeExample_NT7.

      Helio Chelsea,

In the image appears a 4 in the red circle. That is the volume. I want that number to appear next to the price bar.

Also if possible I would like to know if the volum is ask or bit.

      Thank you

        Hello ConradRC,

You could put a text box with the volume there if you wanted.

The example I have provided you in my previous post demonstrates putting a text box at a specific price level that displays the volume.

            Hello Conrad,

The indicator I have linked you is only an example that you can use to model your own indicator code after.

            To import TnSVolumeExample_NT7:
            1. Download the script to your desktop, keep it in the compressed .zip file.
            2. From the Control Center window select the menu File > Utilities > Import NinjaScript
            3. Select the downloaded .zip file
            4. NinjaTrader will then confirm if the import has been successful.

Critical *Note that on any files that say "File already exists on your PC" that start with an "@" symbol are the ones that came preloaded inside of NinjaTrader so you would say "No" so that you do not override those files.

              Hello Chelsea,

              Thank you very much.

Unfortunately, I am not a computer scientist...so see attached please what I did. The script is ok but I see any number or something new.

              What am I doing wrong?

              Best wishes,
              Conrad

                Hello Conrad,

Aahh.. the volume has to be greater than the block size (lines 76-77).. I think when I made this example for the community member that first asked for it, this was one of the things they asked for.

Try setting the Block size to 0.

I've removed that part from the code and re-uploaded to that forum post if you want to re-download it.

                  Helio Chelsea,

See attached please. The numbers appear but are overlapped with the bars.

I changed the Block Size in 0 but it change automatically in 1.

Is there a solution for all?

                  Thank you,
                  Conrad

                    Hello ConradRC,

                    Thanks for the reply.

Any further modifications to the script will be left to the community to complete. You may review the "CustomPlotSample" indicator for ideas on how to plot graphics in very specific locations on the chart.

Plesae let me know if I can assist further.
