Your link on upgrading scripts from NT7 to NT8 is off the mark.
The attached script is already an NT8 script.

Yes, I am understanding ahm1992 would like to convert a NinjaTrader 8 script to NinjaTrader 7.
The post is just advice on how to tackle converting a script. I still recommend the same steps for converting scripts from NinjaTrader 8 to NinjaTrader 7. Make the frame of the script, copy over the logic, correct any errors. Use the help guide to find any documented methods that have changed from NinjaTrader 7 to NinjaTrader 8.
