import indicator failed

Hi

i try to import an indicator to NT7 but i have an error

let's explain : i have already this indicator in my NT7 but i changed it on my second computer (especially the name), i export it, then try to import it on my main computer to change some parameters that i can not change in the indicator parameters box.

When i try to import it i have the error you can find below.

Changing the name of an indicator is not good enough to import it again ?

Thank you for the post.

How did you make the copy on the other machine?

Had you changed both the class name and Name = ""; in the file? Additionally changing the filename would be needed, these are all completed if you use the Save As feature from the original script.

i changed the name directly on tools => Edit Ninja Script => Indicator...

and when i open the script i cannot see the previous name anymore (when i make a search)

Hello Thomas79,

From the given details I am not certain what is not matching up, I could suggest to delete the modified version and then use the Save As to generate a duplicate. From the original script right click and choose Save As. That will give a new file with the correct naming, try importing that and if it still has errors that may be due to some code used in the file. I would otherwise need to see the file used to better understand why it won't import.
