Best way for indicators to "communicate" or share information between two charts?

Scenario: I have two charts of different instruments and want them to share some information with each other. Small volume of data.
Question: Is my best method to use "named pipes" or global values or some other method? I can even simply use a file. Just looking for suggestion or recommendations.

    Cheers

    Hello ct,

With the supported approach you can read and write to file from both scripts.

Unsupported approach you could use static classes and properties.
