It looks like Keltner Bands (indicator section).

I don't think it's Keltner Bands. I tried finding it and it seems like it's just one SMA or EMA (anything will work), with two bands or an envelope a certain percentage from the moving average. Unfortunately I can't code and can't find it on the forum.

I'm new to ninja indicators but when I put a Keltner channel on my chart it indicates that it is channelled around a simple moving average. How does that differ from what is being requested here? If I put a SMA of the same period as the Keltner channel the midband of the Keltner channel is identical to the SMA.

I would think it is pretty similar. The Keltner Channel, you can choose what value you want to offset the channel by.

Josh I've discovered some Keltner channels figure ATR as well as SMA into the formula, as is the case with SierraCharts. Anyway you could let me know how to make them match so I can switch from SierraCharts to NinjaTrader as my primary trading platform?

I'm also needing to make stochastics change colors when the slope switches from neg to pos or pos to neg.

Those two obstacles would make the transition feasible.

                ProfitPilgrim,

To match up with SierraCharts you need to ensure you have the same data feed. Other than that, you can see the code used to generate the Keltner channels in NT. The formula used is the commonly accepted interpretation for it.

For color changes you will need to custom code it. You can try searching the File Sharing section if anyone has decided to share theirs. If you are not a programmer you can also try a 3rd party NinjaScript Consultant: http://www.ninjatrader.com/webnew/pa...injaScript.htm
