Choosing the 5 highest numbers in an array

    I have a quick newbie question :

If I have 20 data in an array and I want to select the 5 highest numbers what would be the preferred method to use.

An arrayList collection, a stack, a list ?

    Thank you for your help

    blarouche,

Unfortunately this is beyond the scope of what we can assist with. You may want to dive over to MSDN or try searching on google for information on these C# techniques.

If you're only looking for the 5 highest numbers, use an ArrayList collection. You have access to the .Sort method, which will order the elements from lowest to highest or highest to lowest depending on how you do it.
