Vortex indicator

Anyone heard of this indicator? Google results state the indicator is a reliable trend catcher.

ninjatrader: Vortex indicator

the vortex indicator as discussed in etienne botes and douglas siepman’s article in january 2010 issue of tasc has been implemented as an indicator available for download at www.ninjatrader.com/sc/january2010sc.zip.

THrunner, the zip file for the vortex indicator seems to have programing errors. I have no programming skills perhaps some one would develop this indicator into a useable form and place it in the indicator section to be used in Ninjatrader. As a side note if anyone is familiar with the AllAllen blog he uses this indicator, along with other indicators, on most of his charts to determine the trend. Tony550-Thank You!

I just downloaded to see what the errors might be and it imported fine. I would look to your other indicators for the source of errors.
