Elder's EMA Channel

Hi,

in Elder's Book "Come into my trading room" you find the disciption of the simple swing trading based on EMA channels.

i.e.EMA 22 with 2 channels +- x%.

I've done the smal scripting to plott the 3 emal lines.

the width of the +- channel ema's must be fit individual for every stock.

I hope this will work in Ninja Trader 7 too.

BTW:
The script is based on this formula, right?

UPPER CHANELL= EMA+EMA* coefficient
LOWER CHANELL = EMA-EMA* coefficient

The formular is correct, you just have to customize the width variable as the coefficient.

i.e. 0.1 for 10% coefficient....

I haven't tested it with NT7, but will do itin the next days. I use the EMA channel very often.

BTW:
Why you called indicator EMAdiff? This is not important, but I am interested in.

I will rename it for my Ninja Trader 7 from EMAdiff to "EMA CHANELL by Elder". I think it explain better why this indicator was programmed ;-)

Hi, EMAdiff was just the working title, so feel free to rename it.

It not realy comes from Elder. Hi coppied it from the book "Technical Analysis" from Gerald Appel.
But I also found it first in Elders Book and later in Appels book. Hi explained it a little bit more.
