Dierk,
Up front, to ensure there is no misunderstanding between us, let me say that I presume you know a lot more about NT than I do -- you should, if only because I am quite new to it. I am trying hard to understand NT-- actually understand it, not just memorize a list of rules -- and would appreciate it if you would help me.
You said that there were errors in my life cycle description that were substantial enough to cause confusion. I would like to improve my knowledge, so would you please explain exactly what errors you found in that description? It is important to me that if I have any misconceptions, they get cleared up.
Please just explain what I said that was wrong, rather than referring me to Help pages that I have already read. Evidently my interpretation of what those Help pages say is wrong, so your explanation would help a lot.
Thanks,
EV

OK,
I guess that is the end of this discussion.
I do not even know just which parts of what I said you believe are so misleading and/or so wrong. I guess I'll just have to continue on in my ignorance.
I am sorry to hear that you are not willing to be more helpful. I am surprised, because everyone else at NT is quite helpful.

We provide a very clear path of what is supported in NinjaScript. We don't comment on speculations/findings etc. of how NT would work outside/beyond that path to avoid any confusion. This is in the best interest of the majority of our users who seek a clear "how to" guidance and not an "open framework" with documentation of how it works internally.
Thanks for your understanding.

I do understand that we disagree on handling disposal. Since you are unwilling to explain further, I consider that a closed issue -- we are agreeing to disagree.
What I still do not understand is why you will not at least tell me what else in my write-up you believe is wrong. I was not aware that I was saying anything misleading or that anyone would disagree with in the rest of that write-up. I truly would like to learn what else I have wrong. I am not asking for any involved discussion of NT internals -- simply which things that I said were wrong.

For reasons I explained below we do no discuss NT internals publicly as this might lead to incorrect conclusions and confusion. Please only use the documented Initialize(), OnStartup() and OnTermination() methods and stay clear of Dispose() or any other non-documented method.
Thanks for your understanding.

NinjaTrader_Dierk: I deleted your post since you came back to the issue where I asked you stay on the documented path of NT features. Unfortunately I'm unable to provide any info beyond that point.
I also closed that thread.
Thanks for your understanding
