    Historical precision

    Hi

I am working on an indicator for a customer and need to know about the way that Ninja works concerning historical ticks precision.

I have to accumulate volume until the market trades to a certain level and when it does I have to indicate precise time from the start of the session to get there.

On real time no problem but what happens if we open Ninja when the session is already open and it touch the price intrabar. How can I calculate precise time in that case...

    Thanks

    Hi blar58,

In an historical sense, the time stamp of bars is the only time property available. In order to get increased granularity you can work with smaller time frames like 1 minute or even tick series if 1 minute is not precise enough.
