Space or Spedcial Character at Beginning of Indicator Name

I have several downloaded indicators that begin with a blank space, and underscore or exclamation point so tha they appear at the top of the indicator list.

I would like to do this with my own indicators so all of my custom version appear at the top of the list.

How do you do that? It isn't possible in the New Indicator Wizard.

    Hello Crassius,

There is no support for special characters in indicator names. They must be letters and numbers only. They should be at the top of the list prefixed with 1.

      Ok That will work

But I do have an existing indicator that starts with a blank space.... this is nice because the name reads clearly without the extraneous 1 in front..... so it must be possible if not supported.

Maybe a community member knows how to do this unsupported thing?

You must paste the character into the naming dialog box when you save the indicator. It MUST be done with the mouse: even CTRL+v does not work.

The other way is to use the "Name" statement in the Initialize() method. Be aware, though, that this only pulls the indicator to the top of the list in the chart indicator selection dialog, not in the indicator editing file selection dialog.
