    question on using Donchain Channel in indicator

    I am considering using the mean value of the donchain channel as a value in an indicator. For example, if I use the value of an SMA, it's called SMA. What are the components of the Donchain Channel called in ninja script? It looks like the Mean line calculation is the 'value' of the Donchain, and the upper and lower lines are just derivitives (even though they are the drivers of the mean). Am I making sense here??

    I'll be more specific: if I want to track the cross of an MA vs. the Donchain Channel mean, how do I call the Donchain mean in a ninja script?

    Hi Bill, you could simply call the basic indicator overload without specifying a plot to use -

    double donchianMean = DonchianChannel(20)[0];
