Anyone know what indicator this is ?

    Hey,

Anyone know what indicator this one is ?

Bottom of the attachment is simple CCI and volume obviously... But I don´t know what this "heat gauge" is... Any ideas anyone ?

It seems to be a kind of momentum indicator, the levels of % on the side rises sometimes to huge levels of 1500% as I understand it.

Anyone know what it is ?

Hi Scottie, wouldn't exactly know from the description unfortunately, perhaps something close to our PowerVolume indicators?

Sure I did, that's where my 'hunch' is coming from to take a look at the PowerVolume ones...perhaps another community member has other input to share for you as well.

Scottie... Where did it come from? Any other clues you can give?

Its from E-signal, but I am not sure it is standard.

Don´t really know anything else, thought it might be something that others had seen before. Its linked to the Bid/Ask so can only guess that the % of heat is gauged by fills on the bid or ask overpowering the other. Higher the heat, more likely a breakout, apparently (lol).

So do you have this indicator on E-Signal, or did you just run across the screen-shot of it somewhere? If so, can you post the source code so someone can try to convert it, or can you post the link to where the screen image came from?

Dont use Esignal, was given the image by someone who works with a very successful trader.

Don´t have the source code or a link to anything. Just thought it might ring a bell with someone, maybe it is completely unique to this trader, I generally think that it probably isn´t unique though which is why I asked.

It looks like some kind of moneyflow indicator plotted on the same bar. If we could see the corresponding price action, that might give a better clue.

                    heat gauge

I know this indicator. It was developed by my friend, probably the same very successful trader. It somehow measures how aggressive he buyers are compared to sellers at that moment. I dont know exactly how it works. I dont believe he has allowed it for common use or sale. It is written for esignal. He is a VERY successful trader. but also a private person.

                      Heat Gauge

I think I have the code for this indicator. I haven't tried it yet though (i'm with thinkorswim) but i've been looking for someone who know how to use it. It was developed by a private person and exclusively for esignal (not available commercially). And yes; he's a really successful trader.

Let me know if you want it.
