How to view an existing indicator in the Wizard?

    Hi,
I'm just starting to learn to develop my own indicators in NinjaTrader. After using the wizard to create an indicator and adding it to my chart I want to go back and add a new signal line and the inputs required. Since I'm still not too familiar with the Code yet it would be easiest to see the indicator in the Wizard and add new lines and input values there.

I've looked through the Help Guides and can't see how to bring up the Wizard with an existing indicator filled in. Can someone please tell me if this is possible, and how to do it, or once we have generated an indicator are we forced to only work directly with the code?

    Thanks.

    Hello Woomera,

    Thank you for your post.

The Wizard is designed for creating strategies. If you have an existing indicator, you will not be able to port it into the Wizard. You will need to modify the source code of the existing indicator.

While we can't code this for you, we can help you get started and point you in the right direction if you give us a little more details of what you're trying to add.
