Multiple Indicator - How to select foreground/background placement

I have multiple indicators and need to know how to prioritize one to always be on top or in the foreground.
    Ideas?

    gyoung,

Are you looking to set the order of these indicators programmatically through the code?

Are these separate assemblies or do you have references to multiple indicates/plots in a single indicator file?

I look forward to assisting you further.

      Matthew,
I am looking to set these programatically if possible.
They are separate assemblies and are in the same/similar locations and need to prioritize when they overlap.

        gyoung,

        Thanks for the clarification.

Unfortunately there is no option to set these programmatically that is supported. Adding this function is tracked under feature request ID # 295.

To work around, I would suggest manually adding your indicators to your chart in the desired order and then saving these setup in a chart template. This chart template can be distributed between multiple PCs or users if desired.

          Matthew,
I had the same thought but it did not pan out.

I am using F9 to draw Fibs and they are overdrawing my other indicators that I cannot see.
I am trying to push the Fibs extensions and retracements to the background either programatically or through indicator addition/sequence of adding or some other set of procedures.
          thanks
          Gary

            Gary,

As it exists currently, any new objects you draw on the chart will take the level 1 position of the display order. I'm not aware of any workarounds for this at this time.
