Multiple Timeframes

I have a short term chart (#1) and longer term charts (#2, 3, 4 & 5) where two of the instruments are the same as #1 while the other two are different.

Is it possible, using C#, to access indicator data that resides on the long term charts (#2, 3, 4 & 5) and display it on the short term chart (#1)??

Hi Romulan,

Yes, you can work in NinjaScript's multi-timeframe framework. There is a sample available in all installations, by clicking Tools > Edit NinjaScript > Strategy > SampleMultiTimeFrame. Documentation for multi series NinjaScript is available here:

I don't want to add instruments to the smaller timeframe chart and eat up more resources and CPUs (I know how to do this). I already have the instruments on the larger timeframe charts along with indicators.

I just want to access the indicator data that is already displayed on the larger timeframe charts and display it on the small timeframe chart using C#. Can I do this???

The only way to programatically access indicator values from multiple time frames is to use NinjaScript multiseries framework.
