Scripting HMA rising/falling
I have both the common HMA indicator and also the HMAcolourchange indicator. The common HMA does not distinguish rising and falling. The HMAcolourchange indicator pens a color change for rising and falling. Betrand suggest that I use the common HMA indicator in a stragety instead of the HMAcolourchange, but I want to execute an order upon the rise or fall of the 14 Period HMA. How do I create a HMA indicator suitable for strategies that includes this?
Thanks. -
Hello rcollen,
Thanks for the post and welcome to the NinjaTrader forums! You can create rising falling conditions in the strategy wizard. There is a dedicated sample for this, available here:
Import that file into your platform, and then edit the strategy to see how these are constructed there.Ryan M.NinjaTrader Customer Service
