    Adding own function

    Hi,
    Sorry for beginner's question. If I want to add my own function to be called from onbarupdate(), where should I put it to be recognized in the onbarupdate() ?

    For example, I want to add this and use it:

    private double NORMDIST(double x, double mean, double std, bool cumulative)
    {
    if (cumulative)
    {
    return Phi(x, mean, std);
    }

    var tmp = 1/(Math.Sqrt(2*Math.PI)*std);
    return tmp*Math.Exp(-.5*Math.Pow((x - mean)/std, 2));
    }

    ssg10, you would put this custom method outside the OnBarUpdate() and then simply call it as needed in your main code - a few examples could be for example seen here as well -
