Hi masterg,
Alerts in the Market Analyzer are now in their own window. To create an alert right-click the Market Analyzer grid -> select Alerts.
The alerts can be made for any columns that you have added.
I have created a quick video to demonstrate.

You can also find this information in the help guide.

there is no alert feature on the market analyzer for NT8
I watched this tutorial, but it is for NT7 and there is no alert feature on NT8.
I'm trying to set up an alert when the CCI or RSI indicators reach the high or low threshold either directly on the indicator or in a market analyzer like this tutorial explained.
Can you show us how to do this on NT8?
Thank you.

Thank you for the help Bertrand. I'm giving this a try now. I was hoping for this ability from within the indicator, that way I don't have to have market analyzer running.
Thanks!

Thanks for the post here pev11 and welcome to our forums. Please check into the video from our helpguide below, it shows how to setup alerts in the Market Analyzer, as example the ADX is used here, but you can of course change that to any indicator of your liking like the RSI / Stochastic -

Sound alarm when line breaches threshold in an indicator.
Hi,
I'm looking for the ability to sound an alarm in say RSI or Stochastic whenever pre-set levels are hit (like the 20%, 80% upper/lower lines) Perhaps using a horizontal line with an alarm capability?
Can someone give me some suggestions here?
Thanks very much!Tags: None
