    How can I modify EMA indicators?

    Hi,

    I want to add a customized EMA indicator(named SuperEMA), which is compose of max value EMA (high), EMA(close) and min vaule EMA( Low).

    How can I add High and Low EMA indicator?

    Many thanks

    Hello Thomson,

    Thank you for your note.

    In your code you can define which Data Series the EMA is calculated off of.

    • EMA(High, period)[0];
    • EMA(Low, period)[0];

    By default the EMA will use the Close.

    EMA(period)[0] is the same as EMA(Close, period)[0];

    Additionally, you may be interested in the "Typical" data series which is the (High + Low + Close) / 3

    EMA(Typical, period)[0];
