Mutliple indicators - just one being recalculated with each tick

    Dear support,

I have a simple question. Say, I want to get an alert when the volume on current bar surpasses 3*StdDev(Volume, 25)[1]. It's easy to code, right, however, is there a way how I can specify that I want only Volume to update on each tick in this alerter and not the StdDev (as I only need the lagged value of StdDev)? The thing is that I would like to have this thing on 6 timeframes and StdDev calculation is rather computationally intensive so if I cant specify that Volume should be calculated on each tick while StdDevs not, I will most likely cause my computer to slow down.

    Thanks a lot,
    Daniel.

    Hi Daniel,
Yes, this is possible. You can see this sample for combining your logic with CalculateOnBarClose = true and false:

Store your StdDev value when FirstTickOfBar == true, and then make your volume comparisons to this stored value.
