    how to calculate averages based on price open vs close, as in Easylanguage

    I'm translating a TS EasyLanguage script and its averaging functions can calculate using price Open or Close. Examples: TriAverage(O,14); XAverage(C,14).
    The only option I see on the equivalent Ninja indicators are TMA(14) & EMA(14), respectively, which I assume are using the Close?
    Two questions: 1. Is that true, are they using the Close; 2. Is there a way to indicate which price variant to use for these indicators?

    Thanks!

    raysdbar, welcome to our forums - yes per default they would use the Close, you can use though an extended overload allowing you to specify the DataSeries as input to be used in the calcs -

    double value = TMA(Open, 20)[0];
