Hello birdog,
The default location for the sound files is going to be: C -> Program Files or Program Files (x86) -> NinjaTrader 7 -> sounds.
Note that the NinjaTrader .NET API to play the sounds only supports the PCM type ".wav" files. There is a post on our support that a user suggested a method to convert a ".wav" file to a PCM wave file type that you may view at the following link under post #5 if you get the following error:
Unable to play sound file 'C:\Program Files (x86)\NinjaTrader 7\sounds\Alert4.wav': Sound API only supports playing PCM wave files.
